Revised Edition of "Hell" Coming

"Tales of Hell's Half Acre" that is!

This collection of true historical events, people and where legendary episodes occurred is being expanded and revised to include more maps, more stories and make it useful as a take along tour book for both individual and guided tours of Oklahoma City.  It will be a "must have" for visitors and locals alike!

Each story will be clearly linked to a map to help the reader see where things happened and get a feel for how things change, and how much things get 'forgotten' over time.

It is hoped it will be part of a series of similar books in a "Haunted By History" series.

Look for it soon!

Murderous Marriages
When Marriages Go Bad It Can Be Deadly
Authored by Marilyn A. Hudson (CreateSpace/WhorlBooks)

Rosebuds, lace, whispered promises to have and to hold....these are the romantic images of marriage in the Victorian and Edwardian eras. Sometimes, however, that pledge to remain true and faithful 'til death we do part' gave ideas of a darker sort to mis-matched couples.Explore some of the cases which had people talking, gawking, and guessing. Murderous Marriages because when love goes wrong - it can be a killer.

Marilyn A. Hudson is an author and researcher who loves turning over history to see the story long hidden by time, ego, and reputations. A graduate of the University of Oklahoma with degrees in history, library and information studies, she collects arcane tales and has been dubbed the "genie of bizarre history". Hudson is author of several historical monographs When Death Rode the Rails, Tales of Hell's Half Acre, Halloween and fiction such as the short story collection The Bones of Summer, short fiction such as the Madame Delaine series, and is co-author of novel The Mound.
